Happy Birthday Shell

It is late but I wanted to make a quick post for my sister Shelley. Happy Birthday Shelley. She was the best little sister. I was always a procrastinator and I would always take forever doing my Saturday chores. I would know that I couldn't go out until they were done, but I never seemed to get them done soon enough so I would beg her to vacuum for me because I didn't have time and my date would be there. She always would do it for me so I could go out. I think this happened at least once or twice a month. She was the best. Then we moved done the street from her right after she had Emma. It was so fun to live so close to her. Brodee would ride his little scooter down to her house sometimes without letting me know he was going. We got to spend alot of time with Emma. Brodee just loved her. It was so much fun having you so close we miss having you right down the street. Thanks for being such a great sister. We hope you had a great Birthday.

Sorry for the delay

The Tucker blog will be updated shortly. We have fallen behind due to the "busy life" syndrome. I have been busy looking for a new job and Jen has been busy working on a Christmas present for a family member. We apologize for the last update being on November 19th. I know my sisters (Rachel and Holly) are not to happy. They do a great job of updating thier blogs.

You may not have heard but my department at Chase is closing so I am in the process of finding a new job. This came as a suprise but we are sure that it will turn out to be a good thing when all is said and done. Blessings come in all different ways when you least expect them. Thanks for your patience.

I hope they call me on a Mission

My Mom and Dad got their mission call the other day we are so excited. I have mixed fealing. I am so excited for them and so sad all at the same time. They will be going to Nauvoo. I can't even tell you how excited I am about were they are going. My Great Grandparents were the first Senior missionaries called to Nauvoo and my Grandparents went there too. So maybe Ryan and I will be going there some day too. I can't wait to take my kids there and let them take tours of all the wonderful places from their Grandparents. I love the pics I got of this it is totaly play by play. It is so funny.
They are both reading the call.
My mom read the call and sits back and starts crying.
My dad looks at her then...
jumps up and yells NAUVOO!!!
Then my mom runs to her dad (who served in Nauvoo) and gives him a big hug.
This is everyone after listening to my dad read the rest of the papers.
This is Ryan and my sweet Hallie she was in tears.
This is my mom my Grandpa Crandell and Aunt Barb.
This is Hallie and Grandpa Great Crandell.

Brodee's Birthday

These are all Brodee's friends that came to his party at the park.

We decided to let the kids frost their own cookies in stead of cake.

Look at he cute little buddies.

Brodee is so shy that when we started to sing Happy Birthday he sunk under the table. Crazy kid but we love him.

Halloween Neighborhood Party

Porter was Darth Maul. He was so excited to paint his face. Ryan did a great job painting it for him.

Hallie was a fairy.

Brodee is Luke Skywalker he had to put some make up on because Porter's face was painted.

Ashlyn was Tiger. This is her and Grandma Flake.

I love our neighborhood. We started a tradition last year of having a little pot luck with all the neighbors before we all go trick or treating. This year it was amazing how many people came. There was tons of yummy food and even more neighbors to talk to and get to know. It was great !!!

10 Wonderful Years

Yesterday was our 10th Wedding Anniversary. I can't believe it has been ten years. It seems like we just got married. I couldn't have found a more perfect person for me. Ryan is a wonderful husband and we have great chemistry together. When I am out of patience and am so frustrated at the kids or just anything he takes over and vice-versa. We make a great team!

Jen is the best thing that ever happened to me. (We are writing this together) She is so talented with her sewing skills, cooking skills, taking care of the kids and all the other talents she has. It gives me peace to think that I married the person that was right for me. We always know that we were meant to be together.

We met at Deseret Book when Ryan worked there after his mission. Four kids and 2 houses later....here we are in Queen Creek enjoying life and making the most of each day.

We want to give a special thanks for Amber Payne for watching our kids while we enjoy a nice anniversary. She is a great friend and is always there for our family. We are having fun shopping, going to movies, eating out, and enjoying time together.
